GEOFF BUNN (b. 1966)

Geoff Bunn was born in Birmingham, England. He worked as an engineer before studying philosophy. In the early 1990's Bunn began to focus on art and by the mid-1990's he had formulated the idea for the 'Unfound' work - a conceptual work populated with a strange and often confusing collection of pieces complimented to this day with the ongoing production of small pieces or "clues". In recent years, working in France with artists such as (the late) Fred Yates, Bunn has also turned back towards more traditional means of representation, producing large, colourful but disturbing canvases of empty human spaces.
